This course will teach women how to protect themselves against an assailant. Women will learn to recognize signs of an impending attack and how to avoid potentially dangerous situations. Most importantly, female students will learn and practice effective self-defense and escape techniques that rely on position and leverage rather than size, strength, or physical prowess. Leaving the course, students will be awarded a Boss High Level certificate level of completion and can feel increased confidence & self-awareness.
The emphasis is on awareness and avoidance. However, this is not always an option, so we aim to arm women with skills to also get themselves out of those potentially harmful situations. This is done through various techniques that utilize methods from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Krav Maga and other martial art forms that will teach women how to overcome bad positions and cease to be a victim.
