The purpose of our course is to take someone who may have never handled a firearm before and make them comfortable carrying a concealed weapon – and even drawing and using that weapon to defend themselves or their family. We have a heavy focus on the actual use of your firearm in defense of life, not against a paper target. We use simulation firearms that shoot plastic projectiles in active shooter scenarios to better prepare you for real world situations. You will not find another CHP class of this quality in this state for this extremely low price!
We encourage students to take the follow up course which includes additional hands on practical defensive shooting and Simulation “force on force” based scenarios with live role players. Until recently this type of training was only available to law enforcement and military personnel.
Through our program you can go through the same type of training officers and military personnel do on a regular basis to test their marksmanship, decision making and prepare themselves for deadly encounters!
Concealed Handgun Permit Class (CHP)
This 4 hour course, required by the state to obtain a concealed handgun permit, is taught much differently here at Boss High Level Protection than anywhere else in Colorado. Unlike most CHP courses that are almost all ‘death by powerpoint,’ we only cover the most essential points of the standard NRA course material and quickly move to hands on, practical application.
